Nora Ponder holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Texas A&M University and is currently a FertilityCareTMPractitioner Intern (FCPI). She and her husband have been using the Creighton Model System exclusively for 12 years and have lived in the Houston area for 10 years.
She has worked as a parish Stewardship Coordinator and a client interviewer for an assistance ministry.
She enjoys volunteering at her children’s schools and her parish as an Adult Faith Formation Catechist. She is in the process of completing her Catechist Certification for the Archdiocese of Galveston– Houston.

What does it mean to be an FCPI? A Fertility Care Practitioner Intern (FCPI) is required to complete a 15 month allied health education program whose professional curriculm was developed at the Creighton University School of Medicine and the Pope Paul VI Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction.
This internship includes:
142 hours class room education:
Divided into 2 educational phases 6 months apart.
Provided by Certified Fertility Care Educators and Medical Consultants.
15 months of supervised practicums with client requirements.
Homework assignments.
An onsite supervisor visit.
A six hours and 20 minute, four part, final exam. Nora has now qualified for the February 18, 2012 final.
