The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men’s fraternal benefit society formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled, and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief, and public relief works.
We strive to improve the living conditions for those who need help, who can’t do it themselves. Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age and older, who are committed to making their community a better place while supporting their Church. Being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is being involved with your community; it is supporting your local Catholic Church while enhancing your own faith; it is about protecting and enhancing your family life. “We are answering Pope Francis’ call to go to the peripheries,” Supreme Knight Carl Anderson said. “We can reach halfway around the globe to help those in need, and we can reach our neighbor next door. And we do that every day. That makes us witnesses to the faith.”
Here is a list of some of the Council Projects dedicated to our cause: Fisher House, Tootsie Road Drive, Military Care Package, Wreaths Across America, VA Visits, Blood Drive, Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, Parish Festival, Lenten Fish Fry.
