  Our parish has been working alongside Katy Christian Ministries since 2002. We are one of more than twenty area churches, which helps to provide social services to residents in the Katy area. K.C.M. operates three resale shops, a domestic abuse center, an employment office, a food pantry, a social services assistance office and GED/ESL programs.
  
  St. Edith Stein runs monthly food drives for the food pantry and also hosts a school supply drive in the summer. Each Christmas our parish adopts dozens of children through K.C.M's "Santa Sleigh" program. Parishioners continue year after year to demonstrate their love and generosity by purchasing presents and gift cards for children in our Katy community who are identified as being the most in need.
